I really think that a note pad on the fridge is a great idea! Why, because we often forget to write down what we need when we run out. I like this one for dogs, its is a nice size and great for any size dog. Of course the bigger the dog, you will have to fill it more often. I like that it has a auto shut off. If the lights go red, that is a sign that it needs to be refilled. Once refilled it will start up again. I don't know about you, but my cats love running water, they love playing with it. They also like fresh water. So when I got the opportunity to review this Watering fountain I jumped at the chance. Very easy to use and set up. Literately all you have to do to get it up is, take it out of the box, put it together, fill it with water, and plug it in, and it is on! This could be used for dogs or cats, but honestly I think it would be better for cats. But that is my personal opinion! It has a double filtration system. So your pet gets clean fresh water all the time. I would recommend bottle water for this, the reason is I feel it would allow the pump last longer. It holds .8 gallons of water. Which is not alot if it is for a dog. Of course if you have a really little dog it might work ok for it. Comes in two colors, blue or pink! I have to say, that it does run quietly, and hearing the water trickle is calming, for you and your pet. With the motor being that quiet, it won't scare your pets either. I personally find if my cats get fresh water all the time, they have a tendency to drink more. This is great for preventing kidney disease or a urinary track infection.
