I like a firm support pillow so these are perfect for me. Front of the pillow is quilted, and back is smooth, nice silk gray pipping goes around them. You put your head on them to sleep and you feel like you are in pure luxury. There is a velvet filler that helps with allergens as well as odors. The silk outer cover, feels really nice on the skin and protects you from mites and dust. If your pillow needs to be washed, wash it in cold water and hang it to dry.
