Pizza Stone

First thing you are going to notice is this is HEAVY! #culinarycouture. Very easy to use. You can cook so much on it. Pizza comes out perfectly cooked on the bottom. It is really well packaged. Comes packed in Styrofoam so it does not get broken. It is 3/4 inches thick. When you unpack your Pizza Stone, you will need to do a few things. You need to clean your stone, DO NOT USE SOAP!! The stone is porous and the soap will soak in it, and you will get soapy taste in your food. Let it dry over night, then Place in your oven at a a hot temperature, let it bake for a few hours. Turn off your stove/oven and let the stone cool inside and once it is cooled down, your stone is ready to use. When you are ready to use your stone, you can prep your stone with flour, or cornmeal or semolina. You can not use oil or excess fat. Preheat the stone 30 min to 2 hours for best results. DO NOT PUT A COLD STONE IN A ALREADY HOT OVEN! You can leave your stone in your oven at all times. Try and avoid cheese baking on to the stone because, once cheese is baked on to it, it is really hard to get off. To clean your stone, just scrap off the stone. DO NOT HANDLE STONE right after you use it. The stone is HOT!!! you will get burnt! Use a pizza peel to take your pizza off your stone. This pizza stone can stand up to 1000 degrees so it can be used in a outside grill. You will also receive a e-cookbook after you receive your stone. If you would like to purchase this item, you can do so at http://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AFOIO3K I received a coupon that gave me a discount on this item. My review is honest, fair and unbiased.
